I'LL BLEACH TO THAT!!

Vera Sidika aka Vee Beiby aka Baddest Video Vixen (picked this one on her IG bio) aka many things that Kenyans are currently referring to her now is still causing comotion in these streets when and only when the words like "bleach" & "skin whitenning/lightening" are used! Skip the hot and thirst ;-)
My once chocolate queen is now a cream of  caramel! Mmhh yummy and im definately loving the transformation by the way! I mean if she can sleep chocolate and wake up caramel (aba ca da bra...) lol! Thats what I thought, poor me!







Until people started saying like Yoo! There's this let me hook you up Tiffy! U can transform Lupita to Beyonce! And I was like say what?? What happened to Dark-Skinned girls winning? And they went on to say stuffs like see Vee Beiby? Proof! Ha!











Well the site- Vice (the name) decided to do a bit more digging about this whole issue! No wonder all fly Nairobi/Kenyan girls are light, SMH! Vice hooked up with the lady who can simply do "Magic" this is really sad but whats funny is she also mentioned "some girls go back to their village and tell them the water of Nairobi made them lighter. There is great shame for wanting to change what God gave you.” This couldnt help me but just laugh out loud! Waters of Nairobi?? If it was this I would have probably had my team of Uganda&Rwanda babes fly over here to taste the sweet magical waters of Nairobi.

SINA MUDA?? I definately got time for Fid Q

The Top of Rap's Elite (FID Q) atleast thats what his twitter bio reads, was recently featured in JCB's new track titled "Sina Muda" along side Tanzania's infamous rapper Kala Pina.


I for one is a greatest fan of this Rap cartel -Fid Q I mean the guy is a genius when it comes to his lyrics and maybe thats the reason why I pay extra attention to his verses and hence couldn't help but take notice of some of his bars in this particular track

JUST IN!!

It sure as hell keeps getting better in time...
Former Miss Tanzania, model, singer and whatever she been up to(I just couldnt keep up anymore atleast I know she a mother of two handsome twins) Jacqueline Ntuyalabiwe aka K Lyinn had the internet spazzing today as she posted of what appears to be an innocent post(do they still use that these days?) on Instagram of her love, best friend and more sweet names she had to offer to her interest Reginald Mengi who is known to be a business mogul in Tanzania. I mean hey cant a man get some PDA even on his birthday? LMAO! The rants and shade were all thrown at K Lyinn for what is believed of her dating a man who is claimed to be too old of her, old enough to be her father and some even took it to extreme to say too old to be her grandfather. Well I do not know how old is K but hey im sure she is old enough to know what she doing(or safe to say what she has gotten herself into?) oh well! This is surprisingly ok these days considering the fact that we see this happening everyday, but he sure is the bella's "best friend". And it so happens that I was looking for an older male best friend who can advise me here and there about certain things in life, so hey K do hook me up :-) LMFAO!!!

Rest In Paradise Phenomenal Woman Maya Angelou

 I am saddened to report that the world lost a literary legend yesterday.

Award-winning author, activist, novelist, poet, and professor Dr. Maya Angelou — born Marguerite Johnson — has passed away this morning at the age of 86, her literary agent Helen Brann confirms. According to her family, she died peacefully in her Winston-Salem, North Carolina home and was discovered by her caretaker.

Dr. Angelou grew up in the Jim Crow era and was raped by her mother’s boyfriend as a young woman. According to her famous memoir, she worked briefly as a brothel madam and prostitute, before eventually defying the odds and rising to international fame as a writer. She quickly became a voice for women who found hope and strength in her story and comfort in her words.  The late poet established her literary reputation with the 1970 autobiography, “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings,” and went on to publish nationally acclaimed poems such as “Phenomenal Woman” and “Still I Rise.” She also famously delivered the poem “On The Pulse Of Morning” during Bill Clinton’s Inauguration in 1993.

She is one of history’s most celebrated authors who is well known for her literary skills, but has worn many hats including Hollywood director, actress, and Alvin Ailey dancer. Maya also held over 50 honorary degrees, three Grammy awards, and even was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

She is survived by her son, Guy Johnson, who took to her Facebook Fan Page to confirm his mother’s passing.

She lived a life as a teacher, activist, artist and human being. She was a warrior for equality, tolerance and peace. Why Shady Palm Trees?

It can get madness crazy in these streets of Nairobi, Kenya during mid-days! Hot madness crazy(referring to the hot weather) or traffic insanity. Picture the mixture of two? Well thats crazy indeed but yet again I tend to hide under shady palm trees at the college with my smartphone, laptop and sippin a cold coke in my mug while throwin shade online
(ie. tweets, posts, ig posts or whatever) If at all not reading books or fashion magazines and novels..I know I know, that is my sweetest escape. Hence wondered why not start something that would be a regular? Considering most teens my age do the same thing, so why not create a platform where one can get juicy information (so not gossiping, lol) pertaining to my favorite celebrities and just throw shade, shade and more shade? Ha! Not that positivity is strictly not allowed but hey the allure diaries, let's start filling those pages!
